The Dragonfly kaleidoscopes and Teleidoscopes are made with solid brass tubing. The finish is coated with a very durable protective varnish, so they will not tarnish or need polishing.
The Dragonfly is applied using a soldering iron, just like a paintbrush, and each dragonfly is applied one at a time.
The wands are made from very durable acrylic. I have never known one to break - if one ever did, they are filled with food-grade silicone. I mention this because I realized that people thought they were made from glass.
This is by far the best selling item, and I have been producing them for more than ten years.
